Lucedale is located in Southeast Mississippi and 45 minutes or less from Mobile, Alabama and an hour away from Biloxi and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. U.S. Highway 98, state highways 63, 57, 613 and 26, all run through George County. Interstate 10, a major east-west artery for the continental U.S. is about 20 miles south of Lucedale. Traveling 1-10 west, Lucedale residents can experience the cultural wealth of New Orleans, Louisiana in only two hours. Lucedale is 45 minutes or less of two regional airports and Amtrak, transcontinental passenger train service.
